Amy graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and came to the Tidewater area as a Navy Nurse Corps officer. After many years as a Registered Nurse in critical care, pain management, post-operative surgical care, and wellness, she received her Masters of Science from Georgetown University and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Focusing on lifestyle medicine, Amy is certified in laser therapy, specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and works closely with patients in wellness, health coaching, and weight loss management.
A native of Arizona, Amy loves living near the water and vacationing in the mountains. In her spare time she enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, a good cup of coffee, exercising, cooking, traveling, attending bible study, and being at the beach with her Goldendoodle, Maxwell. Her pride and joy are her 21-year old twins, Mallory & Riley.
